The P51 Mustang was the First US built Fighter Aircraft in action after the fall of France.
Made Legendary by the Tuskegee Squadron that utilized the long range of the Mustang to protect allied bombers
as they flew deep into Germany.
In 1944 the Truman Senate War Investigating Committee gave the P51 its highest rating as "The Most Aerodynamically Perfect Pursuit Plane in Existence".
