Classic Roman villa's featured marble sculptures and statues in their gardens and loggia's. Many of them were copies of ancient Greek originals. Greek art focused on the perfect male or female body. This set of busts representing both sexes in a youthful prime are representing the best of ancient classical sculpture. Handmade of a mixture of resin and plaster of Paris, they are expertly aged and finished to a high degree.
