The US Navy Telescope - Chrome-SPL Edition with Wooden Stand from the original design galileo came up in 1609 is commonly called a galilean telescope. It uses two lenses to produce magnified upright images. This handsome telescope stands up to 60" tall. The adjustable tripod stand is made of hard wood. and the telescope itself is chrome-plated brass fittings; The tube of the scope is 38" Long.
